In Spring of '24, we chose to develop the work of one of our own, Associate Professor Alex Lefevre and Marybeth Berry’s The Puzzle. This contemporary, intimate story about loss and strained relationships in a family of talented artists grew incredibly during the short process. We were able to focus profoundly on developing the book, and the students were instrumental in sussing out key narrative elements.
